Also, it's important to remember that one of the aspects of privilege is that it's nearly invisible to the privileged.

Just because someone doesn’t understand their privilege doesn’t automatically make them an asshole. They may just need someone to be patient with them and explain it. Jumping down their throat and assuming they’re purposefully being prejudiced without explaining things to them isn’t helpful at all.

I thought it would be cool if I actually got to know my followers (: Hi! I’m Keerat, 18, Canadian, and in university. I live in British Columbia, and it’s almost always raining here. The people in my city are a bit sleazy, and in September I’m moving in with my boyfriend, Carl. Who are you, and how are you doing?! :)

Hello, I’m CK. I generally use my phone to Tumbl so I don’t get my messages very often.

I’m currently in northeast Ohio, I grew up here but I travel quite a bit. People near where I am now are mostly just depressed. I like it here but it’s hard to find people that agree with me.

I play music, paint and write and am always looking to collaborate with people. More importantly I’m always looking for a new experience.

I can’t think of anything else important to say about me so I’ll just say thanks for the message, I like your blog and have a nice day =)

Record Companies sue LimeWire for more than five times the entire US National Debt. → law.com

“As defendants note, plaintiffs are suggesting an award that is ‘more money than the entire music recording industry has made since Edison’s invention of the phonograph in 1877.’”

I get that they’re just trying to make a statement with this but like

how do they expect anyone to take them seriously

really

this is ridiculous and copyright organizations have basically ruined the music industry themselves

“People don’t think we’re evil enough yet, how can we make them absolutely lose all faith in us and replace that with hatred and angry disbelief at what assholes we are?”

“How does the number 75 trillion dollars in damages strike you?”

“Stop digging, you’ve hit oil.”
